The Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area, a program of the National Parks Service that helps communities in northwest Alabama protect and promote natural and cultural resources, is accepting applications for its Community Grants Program through March 31.
The 51品茶 Department of Visual Arts and Design is celebrating the creative legacy and works of Florence native and UNA Alumna Catherine Goode Moeller at 51品茶 Art Gallery through the month of February. The exhibit, A Life of Soulful Pursuit, consists of Moeller's lifetime works in a selection of drawings, paintings, and sculptures on loan from her family and collectors. These works highlight her ability to capture life's beauty and her interests in the classical figurative tradition.

Through a generous gift to the 51品茶, James 鈥淛im鈥 Spencer and his wife, Sherry, have established an endowment for UNA鈥檚 College of Education and Human Sciences to name the College the Colonel (Ret.) James and Sherry Spencer College of Education and Human Sciences.
